How TrainingLogger works

Quick guides for students and athletes. No jargon—just what each part of the app is for and where to tap.

Start here

TrainingLogger is for tracking workouts in one place—so you can see what you did last week and start a new session fast. Create an account with Sign up, or Log in if you already have one. If sign-ups are closed at your school, you may land on the waitlist first.

Home (Dash)

After you log in, Dash is your home. You will see your name, a weekly volume summary, your recent workouts, and a clear button to start logging. Use it as your launch pad before practice or the gym.

Logging a workout

Tap through to start a log. Pick exercises using the list and category chips, add your sets (reps, weight, and notes if you want), then finish and save when you are done. The steps are meant to be quick on your phone between sets.

Some links from the exercise library can open the log with an exercise already picked for you—that uses a hidden setting in the address bar, so you do not need to think about it.

Workout history

Workout history lists sessions you have saved. If you just saved a workout, the URL may include ?saved=1so you get a short "saved" message—your list works the same either way.

An older bookmark to /dash/workout-history still sends you to the same history page.

Exercise library

Exercises is where you browse what you can log. You can add your own moves and group them with categories so your go-to lifts are easy to find next time.

Account and settings

Account is where you manage your profile, email, and password (handled securely by our sign-in provider). Settings holds app-level options and quick links on small screens.

Questions or something broken? Email support and we will get back to you.

Read Privacy, Terms, and Accessibility for the full policies. The Changelog lists recent product updates in plain language.
